Back bending is one of the key ways to opening up the heart center through a physical practice. The Spine has to open up like water on a rock. Over a long period of time without force but through relaxation.
In this workshop you will be drilled through a series of exercises that will condition the muscles necessary to support the spine in a proper backbend. Abdominals, quadriceps and glutes are all necessary to support the spine safely when bending backwards.
He will start with a warm-up Vinyasa and will transition into conditioning exercises along with long holds to open up the spine and deepen your flexibility.
